Welcome to Gamivert ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gamivert regarding your access to and use of our gaming social platform, websites, and related services.
By creating a Gamivert account, accessing our website, or using any of our features, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
Description of Service
Gamivert is an independent social platform engineered for gamers, providing:
- Customizable Gamer Profiles: Unified profiles showcasing your identity, custom banners, bio, and connected gaming activities.
- Gaming Library Sync: Integration with Steam (with additional platforms planned) to display publicly available games, playtime, and achievements.
- Social Interaction: A community feed for posts, milestones, comments, and following fellow players across games.
- Gamification & Progression: An XP leveling system and badge showcases celebrating genuine gaming milestones and community participation.
- Gamer Discovery: Live exploration and search to discover players and community members.
User Conduct and Community Standards
To keep Gamivert welcoming, safe, and fun, all members agree not to:
- Post hate speech, harassment, defamation, threats, or abusive material
- Impersonate any person, gamer, creator, or organization
- Engage in automated scraping, abuse of APIs, reward manipulation, or botting
- Upload malicious software, phishing links, or unauthorized spam
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access control, or database security boundaries
Gaming Platform Disclaimers & Third-Party API Policies
Gamivert is an independent community platform. Valve, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic Games, Riot Games, and all respective logos, game titles, and trademarks are property of their respective owners. Platform integration relies on public APIs and official telemetry, and does not constitute endorsement by or direct commercial affiliation with third-party platform owners.
Riot Games Developer Policy Compliance
Gamivert isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
- Player Opt-in & Consent: In accordance with Riot Games and community API privacy policies, player competitive statistics (VALORANT and League of Legends) are ingested and displayed solely with the explicit consent of the account owner. Gamivert never conducts unsolicited scraping or unauthorized scouting.
- Official Ranks Only: Displayed ranks reflect official Riot Games competitive tiers and divisions. Gamivert does not compute or publish custom MMR, alternative ELO ratings, or unauthorized skill ranking algorithms.
- 100% Free Access: Access to linked Riot match data, competitive tiers, and player scorecards is completely free and is never locked behind paywalls or premium tiers.
- Positive Community Standards: Gamivert highlights authentic competitive achievements and strictly prohibits negative tagging, shaming badges, or toxic rank preconceptions.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via your Account Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards, engage in platform abuse, or compromise security.
